Team Photos

Published in AFO News by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (0)

We have decided to create an album of team photos for all the games our clan plays, to try and capture the "spirit" of each game and to show to the rest of the Fray community why our teams dedicate themselves to excelling in their chosen games.

We'll kick off the team photos with Team Fortress 2. Thanks to the Team Fortress 2 team and special thanks to Twisted for organizing the choreography and image work necessary to create this brilliant photo.

The Public Relations mananger Oh_Man will be coming around to each of the teams to help get their own team photos. If you have any ideas you would like to share just PM them across. Alternatively you could make your own Team Photo and send them to Oh_Man.

Fray on Fray Semi Final Result

Published in Left 4 Dead by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (0)

Our Left 4 Dead teams enVy and Xero Error made to the semi finals where the CyberGamer ladder pitched the two teams against each other. It was a great, close game with only a 1000 points in it on Blood Harvest. In the end team enVy won the match, moving on to the finals in approximately a fortnights time. Congrats to both teams on the great game and their outstanding results throughout the season!

The match was shoutcasted by Gamestah, if you missed out on the game you can view it here: http://www.gamestah.com/file/view/2676.

The team has also joined the CyberGamer 6v6 ladders and hope to continue to place highly in this competition as well. The teams are being captained by Mustard and Beta. Good work on the previous season boys, and best of luck on the ladders!

International Expansion Begins Now

Published in AFO News by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (1)

The Australian Field Operatives have officially changed their name to Frenetic Array. The management team consisting of Riddick (Clan Leader), Syph (Treasurer, 2IC), Pedro (Human Resources, 2IC), Oh_Man (Public Relations), Twisted (Server Administration), Remixer (International Diplomat and Clan Sponsor) and Deltz (Forum and Ventrillo Administration) decided that the clan would only continue to improve if we began to expand our horizons to incorporate gaming at an international level.

With this plan in mind it was decided that the clan needed a name change in order to foster a more positive response abroad. After much discussion and numerous polls we have decided on Frenetic Array. With the name finalized we will begin to make the necessary steps to succeed internationally and we look forward to expanding our gaming community across the world!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the name change process and hope for your continued support in the months ahead. Rest in peace AFO, long live Frenetic Array!

AFO.xE WINS TSW LANJAM!

Published in Left 4 Dead by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (0)
Our New Zealand Left 4 Dead clan, Xero Error, won another NZ LAN tournament over the weekend with four convincing matches including Global Domination and TSW twice due to the double elimination format.

The LAN was the first of what is hoped to be a regular event with top teams competing from around Auckland and New Zealand.

This was good practice for the boys heading into New Zealand's biggest LAN tournament, xLan, coming up in July where there is hoping to be 12 teams or more of Left 4 Dead. Great job guys, well deserved win.
